About me

About me

Hi, I'm Adrian.

For most of my career I worked in blockchain security — auditing smart contracts, finding vulnerabilities, living in a world that moved fast and rewarded never stopping. For a while, I loved it. Then, slowly, I didn't.

Burnout doesn't arrive with a dramatic crash. It creeps in. One day you open your laptop and the simplest things feel impossible. You're not lazy — you're empty. I know that feeling well, and I spent a long time pretending I didn't.

What helped me wasn't a productivity system or a morning routine hack. It was a notebook and a pen. Writing things down — without structure, without a goal — gave my mind somewhere to put what it was carrying. Over time, the fog lifted. Slowly, then all at once.

This newsletter is what I wish had existed when I was in the thick of it.

Every week I write about surviving work mentallybuilding a journaling practice that actually sticks, and the philosophy of slowing down in a world that won't — including a perhaps unexpected obsession with mechanical watches and analog tools that keep me grounded when everything else is moving too fast.

If you work in tech, in knowledge work, in anything that lives on a screen — and you've felt the quiet drain of doing too much for too long — you're in the right place.

No hustle culture. No productivity hacks. Just honest writing from someone still figuring it out.

Subscribe and I'll send you something worth reading every week.
